Karen Tote is a purse that I made for my friend Karen. She is a very delightful lady and the color showcase her sunny personality.

MATERIALS
MC Heavy Worsted Weight Self stripe yarn – 450 yards

The picture shown used Patons SWS in color Natural Geranium 70530)

1 set US #10.5/6.00 mm dpn
A 24” of size US 11/6.50 mm circular needle

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Approximated Size after Felting: 14 inches W * 12 inches H

GAUGE
12 sts/14 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch using size 11 needle

PATTERN NOTES
This purse is worked in 1 strand throughout using St st. This purse is worked in 5 pieces; purse body (make 2), purse bottom with purse sides and purse top (2). The purse sides are worked by picking up stitches from the purse bottom and the purse top are knitted in a long rectangle pieces, then attached to the top and the side of the purse.
