Kári the puffin

This project is quite easy to make but you need a little experience on knitting.
All pieces can be worked on straight needles in stockinet stitch.
Make sure you read all the instructions before you start working!

Difficulty: medium
Final height: 13 cm

Gauge
3.25mm needle
26 sts = 10 cm (4’’ wide)
32 rows = 10 cm (4’’ long)

Suggested yarn
Plötulopi yarn in color black, white, orange, blue and yellow.
As a matter of fact, any yarn of the correct size to obtain gauge will do. Black and white are the main colors; scrap yarn can be used for the blue and yellow and even for the orange, if you have some lying around.
When using Plötulopi, consider that one plate of black and white (which is the minimum you can buy) will yield around three puffins.

Knitting needles
Straight needle in size 3.25mm (US 3)
DPNS on size 3.25mm (US 3)

Additional materials
Sewing needle
Felting needle
Some soft toy stuffing
2 black (or desired color) safety eyes, size 9mm
Old pillow or any disposable spongy material
