This sweater is worked in the round to the underarm. Then the front and back are split and worked separately to the shoulders which are joined by working a three needle cast off. Stitches are picked up around the armholes and the sleeve caps are shaped using short rows. The sweater has an all over 4x2 rib pattern with a deep cowl neck, 3/4 length sleeves and waist shaping.

Take care to ensure that the tension remains the same when switching from knitting in the round to knitting flat.
