This cosy colourful hat is designed for Worsted weight (10ply) yarn or heavy DK. It is a quick knit with an easy gathering lace pattern. It can be worked traditionally V1 or inside-out V2 depending on the look you prefer (both are instructed in the pattern). The pattern is written for a beanie and instructions are included for adjusting to a wider slouch. Eight sizes are given that range from Baby to Adult XXL.
I also designed a matching cowl so that you can get both an adult hat and cowl out of 2 skeins of yarn if you want to select that perfect colour combo and both projects are a great way to use up leftovers from your stash.
