Celtic knots flow along the lower edge of the shawl to both tips. This shawl is inspired by my familys’ Scottish heritage. It is named in memory of my sister who was fiercely proud of her heritage.

Construction Notes
Work the cable edging first, starting with a provisional cast on, working from the center to one tip. Remove the provisional cast on and work the second half of the cable, following the mirrored charts. After the cable is finished, pick up stitches along the top edge and knit the body of the shawl back and forth, using short rows. Bind off with an i-cord edging.

Notions
crochet hook for provisional cast on
1 split st marker
tapestry needle for weaving in ends
