UPDATE 10/23/2011: Revised pattern to include easier-to-read chart.

I made this pattern up on a whim while driving almost 3 hours to go hiking a few weeks ago. I had brought a pattern with me but found it way too fussy to knit and so decided to make up my own. These top-down socks are pretty simple, and are named after a friend who really fell in love with the pattern and colors of this kool-aid dyed yarn. The dove in the photos is Octavia, the girlfriend of Ron who posed with my Waterlily Socks a while back.

ETA: These are done entirely with increases and decreases, no cabling involved! :)
