Yarn: several strands of yarn, e.g. one bulky and 3-4 sport weight yarns

Gauge: Cast on 11 stitches. The first row is the cast on row so the wrong side row is No.2. To prepare for the pattern knit: k3, p1, k1, p4, k1, p1. Then work according to the chart: k1, p1, k1, now slip the next stitch purlwise with the yarn on the back then ya
