This Dragonpine Designs pattern was designed by Katy Lu Green.

These incredibly fuzzy mittens are perfect for all ages, and provide that perfect amount of comfort on cool winter days. They can be knit in 3 different sizes for everyone in the family! Worsted-weight yarn is held TOGETHER with the eyelash or fun-fur yarn to give added warmth. For the cuff, only the worsted weight yarn is used (and is essentially “invisible” for the rest of the pattern), so only a small amount is required in a contrasting or complimentary colour to your chosen boa-style yarn. A completely different yarn can be used held with the boa, so these could also be great stash-busting mittens!

Materials Required:
65 (130, 130) meters of worsted-weight yarn
65 (130, 130) meters of eyelash or “fun fur” or boa-style yarn
3.5mm double pointed needles
4.0mm double pointed needles
Sample used: 1 skein of Cascade 220 worsted and 1-2 balls of Bernat Boa (depending on size)

Sizes Available:
Small -- fits toddlers up to age 3
Medium -- fits the average woman’s small-to-medium sized hand
Large -- fits the average woman’s medium-to-large hand or a man’s small hand (pattern can easily be extended for an even larger hand, but yardage requirements would increase should you modify the pattern)
