Gauge
13½ sts and 22 rows = 4” St st; 36 to 52 sts of Leaf Panel
chart (see Notes) meas approx 10” wide. Take time to save time, check your gauge.

Notes
The main 18-row repeat of the Leaf Panel chart begins with 36 stitches, increases to a maximum of 52 stitches after completing Row 7, then decreases to 36 stitches again in Row 17. When repeating Rows 1–18 of the chart, always count the center panel as 36 stitches, even if it is on a row where the stitch count has increased.

Rows 19–36 are worked once at the end of the chart to finish the last pair of leaves. These rows begin with 36 stitches, then decrease to 30 stitches in Row 35. After finishing the chart, use the actual count of 30 stitches for the center section.

The measurements shown on the schematic include all stitches for blocking purposes. The selvedge stitches lost in the side seams are not included in the finished bust measurements.
