Kedjor (pronounced “shéd-yor”) is a Swedish word meaning “chains” or “links”.

The Kedjor wrap is made using the filet crochet technique. The pattern consists of a grid chart to follow rather than written instructions (which would be pages and pages long!). The technique is explained in depth and helpful pictures are included in the pattern.

Skill level: adventurous beginner. Filet crochet is an easy technique which uses only the basic chain and double crochet stitches (US term).

Yarn: In the example shown here I have used a light sport weight yarn, and a 3mm hook. You can also use Fingering, DK or Worsted/Aran weight yarn depending on the size and thickness you want for your wrap. You will need to choose a hook accordingly.
I recommend using solid colors or fades to ensure a clear definition in the pattern. With variegated yarn, the motifs will not be quite as distinct.

Yarn amounts: 1800-2000m sport or fingering weight yarn. For the example shown here I used 11 skeins of Järbo Llama Silk. Please note that this is an estimated amount only. If your crochet style and gauge differ, you might need more yarn.

Size: The example shown here is 50x190cm. The length and width of the wrap can easily be adjusted if you want a different size. How to do this is explained in the PDF.

The pattern has been tested and checked for errors, however, please do not hesitate to let me know if you find a mistake.
