This is a floppy brim sunhat pattern using dk weight yarn (recommended cotton or cotton blend). The design uses two colors for contrast, and incorporates an openwork design resembling eyes into the hat. This pattern uses between 150 and 175 yards of color A, and between 75-100 yards color B. US crochet terminology is used. It is sized for an average adult woman’s head, but some suggestions on modifying the size are provided in the pattern.
