‘Kelby’ At the dawn of the spring equinox my girls are keen to shed their winter coats for something lighter to wear, presenting ’Kelby’ ~ an open front cardigan with two optional lengths both featuring a graceful lace stitch mimicking the gentle ripples of a fresh spring fountain, that is both easy on the needles and stylish for our dolls

Samples paired with Lace Newsboy Cap for American Girl/Gotz Dolls for styling purposes (cap pattern not included)

  • Pattern Features:* Both short and long versions feature a graceful lace stitch pattern on main body welt and continues along the front panels, also worked on deep cuffs and center of long raglan sleeves.

  • Slit side pockets that are both functional and decorative; pocket linings worked with main body that includes the option to work a longer variation that allows for hands to tuck into pockets; pocket fronts worked from held stitches at finish.

  • Pattern formatted with written instructions throughout with the option to work to measurement, including the longer version

Construction: Worked flat; back and forth in rows. Sleeves worked first from cuffs to armholes that are later joined to main body, (worked from bottom in one piece to armholes) for raglan and neck shaping. Slit side pockets; lining worked with main body, fronts worked from held stitches, sewn in place at finish along with sleeves seamed
