After seeing the Mikaso beads called Picasso, I fell head over heels in love and needed to design a shawl for them. This sea themed, heart shaped shawl is a perfect pairing. Dyed in various size hanks, semi solid and multi colored hand paint yarns, there’s fun with beads and sea creatures ahead.

Supplies:
Yarn: Yarn Fairy Medium Sock, 75/25 SW Merino/nylon, 460 yds/100g
2 - 100g hanks of Seaweed Multi,
1 – 20g Amber, 1 - 20g Truffles
1 - 100g turquoise,1 - 100g charcoal
OR Option 2 - 4.5 hanks semi solid
OR Option 3 - 2 full hank multi and 2.5 hanks semi solid
Needles: US 4/3.50mm – 32” circular might want 60” towards end
Crochet Hook: Size 13-14/0.8mm larger beads and Lacis 16/0.40mm
for placement method of beading
Beads: 6/0, 2/0, E, Rocaille
Light and Dark Bead Soup, 60 grams of each YF Sea Seaweed mix
8/0 clear/white for a multi section
8/0 YF Sea Seaweed for jelly and fish tails
8/0 silver for starfish
Double sided metal rondelle 6mm for starfish mouth qty 26
Notions: Sewing needle and thread for starfish mouth
Gauge: 18 sts, 26 rows over 4 inches in stockinette blocked on size 4
Finished Measurements: About 28” nape of neck to hem, wingspan really big
Fae level: Intermediate
