Kennedy Lake is an intricately patterned, gently crescent-shaped shawl, with a heavily beaded lace edging. Worked from side-to-side in one piece, there are no stitches to pick up, no short rows, and not many stitches to cast off at the end.

It is 15¾ inches (40cm) deep in the centre, 58 inches (147cm) across the top edge, and 70 inches (178cm) around the bottom curve; instructions are included to change the length and width of the shawl if you want to.

The instructions are charted, and wrong side rows are purled.

You will need 360 beads in total, or 300 MC and 60 CC beads.

ERRATA: There are a couple of symbols missing in the chart key: ‘-’ = purl on the RS, knit on the WS; ‘M’ = make 1 (lift strand between sts from front to back and knit into the back of it). I’ll update the pdf when I get a chance :)
