Twisted stitches and cables make up an interesting scarf for men or women. Worked in one piece, no seams, this piece knits up fast using DK weight yarn and #6 needles.

If your not familiar with twisted stitches, let me tell you about them. Basically you will knitting 2 stitches on the left hand needle in a reverse order, usually beginning with the second stitch on the left hand needle and then working the first stitch before slipping them both off the needle. Nothing too complicated!!

As always, sizes and gauges on scarves will vary with the yarn you are using. Fingering weight, smaller size, worsted weight, a larger scarf. Length can be whatever you wish, just adjust the repeats of the 24 row pattern. Width can not be as easily adjusted.

This pattern has complete in both row by row written and charted instructions.

Materials needed besides the #6 4.00 mm knitting needles are 600 yds. DK weight yarn, 2 stitch markers and a cable needle. Oh! Don’t forget the pattern. Hope you enjoy your new project.
