This pattern is available for free.

This is a free pattern for a beanie to fit any gender with a full-sized head. The pattern has a three-color snowflake pattern around the base after the brim. The sample hat uses the colors 44 Light Grey, 0705m Green, and 0701m Petrol. The two accent colors require considerably less than 1 skein, so if you have stash on hand, that is ideal. The suggested skill level for is advanced beginner-intermediate, or comfort following a simple color pattern.

I have Drops Karisma and Drops Lima listed as suggested yarns, but I would suggest choosing one yarn to work with. A super wash yarn like Drops Karisma is ideal so you can wash it in the washing machine! Using another worsted weight yarn would also work well.

Take caution to wrap the yarn in back very loosely and frequently (I advise every 3-4 stitches).

You can access this pattern on my blog here, or on a free PDF here. For more information about how this pattern came to be, see my blog post here.
