This is an original crochet pattern for a beautiful soft cowl, designed by me in Australia.
Instructions are given for both 4ply/fingering weight wool, and cotton yarn.
The cowl is crocheted in the round and is a fairly simple project, that would suit an advanced beginner and beyond. You will need about 600 yards of yarn; perhaps a lovely sock yarn, as used in the sample. Perfect accessory for keeping your neck warm in winter.
For the summer-weight cotton version, make it in any soft yarn that drapes well. It is a bit shorter than the wool version in height. The summer weight version in the photo was made with part of a ball of Scheepjes Whirl with a gradual colour change.
International/British crochet terminology is used.
Please note you are purchasing a DIGITAL PATTERN, not a completed cowl.
