A simple fingerless mitt with a riotous little ruffle.

I designed this pattern with handspinners and newbie knitters in mind. I’d call it “nearly newbie” because you need to be able to pick up sts, increase, and work yarnovers and knit more than once into each stitch.
That said, these work up so fast. In fact I can knit a pair in 3 hours without rushing, but that’s me. This simple little pattern is a perfect canvas for color adaptations. Of course you can knit them in solids or tonals too. Any heavy worsted or aran weight works great. The gold yarn shown here is one of my LV ltd Au Naturel yarns dyed with wild grape leaves. Enjoy!
