This is the “colorful scarf” my character Keriah wears in my book Lady Wynwood’s Spies, volume 6: Martyr.

It’s a long, narrow crescent rather than a traditional rectangular shape, and the construction paired with the color-transitioning yarn creates lovely swoops of color.

The lace stitch pattern is an antique pattern from over 175 years ago, creating slightly asymmetrical clusters of eyelets.

The scarf is knit from the point at one end to the point at the other end.

I made this to use only one ball of yarn.

Size: 70” long and 12” deep at widest point after moderate blocking

Gauge: Unstretched, the lace pattern is 18 stitches (3 pattern repeats) over 3.75 inches
