I designed this baby blanket with 100% Bamboo to have a beautiful drape, soft to the touch, durable and long lasting. The inspiration is to have this be your firstborn’s blanket and to be passed down. It also grows with the child to be their lovey blanket. Litttle ones will love to put their fingers through the mesh and to scrunch it up to use as a pillow as my own daughter does! Make this in a neutral colour that will suit any gender to be passed down from child, to child, or generation.

It uses single, double and half double crochet so beginners will love how easy this blanket is to make!

I used 5 balls of 50g/104 yrds Knitica Lovely Bamboo and a 5mm/H hook.

Finished blanket will be approx 25” x 34”.
