Known for her vibrant use of color, Kat Coyle brilliantly marries a somber tone with dazzling brights in this short skirt that includes two of her son’s favorite things—black cats and the color red. Though the cat motif is an old one, the skirt is both youthful and classic—wear it with boots in deep winter or with sandals in high summer. A drawstring allows it to be cinched in at the waist or ride low on the hips. For fun, Kat made an alternate drawstring with stripes in the colors of the Fair Isle patterning; it doubles as a cool bracelet!
