Tired of searching for your inhaler? This little cozy allows you to keep your inhaler always at the ready by attaching it to your key ring. At the same time, it keeps the inhaler clean and dry and secures the cap.

Albuterol inhalers come in a few different shapes. This pattern is for an inhaler shaped like the one pictured here but can be used for others that are close in size and shape. The dimensions of the inhaler pictured (not the cozy) are

toe to heel: 1.75” (4.5 cm.)
heel to cuff (to the very top): 2.75” (7 cm.) foot circumference: 3.75” (9.5 cm.)
leg circumference: 4” (10 cm.)

The yarn used in the sample was recycled yarn from a thrift-store sweater. Stash-diving encouraged!

This pattern incorporates my favorite heel, the Fish Lips Kiss Heel, which can be purchased separately for $1. Alternatively, other short-row heel techniques can be subbed:
Sweet Tomato Heel
No Wrap, No Gap Short-Row Heel
Japanese Short-Row Heel
German Short-Row Heel
Wrap and Turn Short Rows
