Yarn: You may use any worsted or Aran; I used Red Heart Soft in Tangerine colorway, but I don’t recommend for or against it.
Other Supplies: scissors, tapestry needle
Sizes: One Size; finished measurements 2.5 inches (length) x 1.25 inches (width of handle)

There are two versions: the Easy Version, which requires some sewing, and the Sew-Free Version, for people (like me) who hate finishing. The pictured example is the Sew-Free Version.

This pattern was created in commemoration of a Christian tradition, the Feast of the Confession of Peter. Jesus asks His disciples, “Whom do you say that I am?” and Peter replies, “You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God.” Jesus praises him and adds, “I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 16:15-19)

However, this pattern can be used as a toy or an ornament for anything, from a key fob to an Advent calendar or Christmas tree!
