Experienced: provisional cast on, double knitting

Color blocking and slipped stitches make this hat a unique winter accessory.
The hat is worked in a double-sided st pattern created with slipped sts and Reverse Stockinette that resembles a honeycomb. The inside looks like Stockinette st.

MATERIALS
• 3 x 50g hanks of Mirasol Sulka in color 243 Cayenne (A).
• 2 x 50g hanks of Mirasol Sulka in color 248 Taupe (B).
• Size US 10/6mm circular needle 16in/40cm long, or size
to obtain gauge.
• Extra size US 10/6mm or smaller circular needle for holding hem stitches.
• One set (5) size US 10/6mm double-pointed needles.
• Cable needle.
• Waste yarn and crochet hook for provisional cast on.
• Stitch markers.
• Pompon maker (optional).

GAUGES
