It’s a very simple loop keychain, because of course you want to carry your keys on something you made yourself.

What makes this stand out is the yarn used. It gives it a metallic feel while being made out of yarn. Add in a few beads, and it’s a cute little every day accessory.

The main body is made with an I-cord, with optional beads added as you go. The cast on, bind off, and a few rows at the beginning and end are worked flat. Then these are sewn or crocheted together with the hardware added at the end.

This is the sort of project that can be completed in a couple hours. Change out the beads and the yarn, and you’ve got personalized gifts for a whole bunch of friends.
