Originally published in Interweave Crochet Summer 2018 as the Ever-New Skirt, this updated self-published version has an expanded size range, fit and customization tips, larger font, and an airier, simpler variation on the main design (shown in the Beige version pictured here).

The Keys Maxi Skirt is an airy, streamlined skirt that skims your shape. Wear it as a beach cover or layered over a fitted skirt or dress.

Customization options and fit tips are included.

This pattern uses American crochet terminology.

Skill Level: Strong Intermediate.

FINISHED SIZES:
Waist circumference: 26 ¾ (29 ¼, 33 ¼, 37 ¼, 41 ¼, 45 ¼, 49 ¼, 53 ¼)”;
Hip circumference: 34 ¾ (37 ¼, 41 ¼, 45 ¼, 49 ¼, 53 ¼, 57 ¼, 61 ¼)”;
Low hip (widest point): 37 ¼ (40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60, 64)”;
Length: 37” (Version 1 - main version); 35 ¼” (Version 2 - variation).

YARN: Eulali by Omega Yarn fingering-weight yarn (100% cotton; 394 yd 360 m / 3.52 oz 100g): 4 (5, 5, 5, 6, 6, 6, 7) balls. Shown in colors #18 (Cream), #86 (Jade), and #22 (Beige).

HOOK: Sizes D (3.25 mm) and E (3.5 mm) hooks. Adjust hook size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.

NOTIONS: Yarn needle; stitch markers.

GAUGE: With smaller (D) hook, 6 shells = 4”; 10 rows in shell pattern = 4”.
With larger (E) hook, 6 shells = 4 1/8”; 10 rows in shell pattern = 4 1/8”.
