Like every knitter, I can’t say no to a set of mini skeins and I had a slightly out-of-control collection of scraps and “not quite enough for contrast heels and toes” balls of yarn from old projects. Originally, I wrote this pattern to play with color combos in my Back To Grad School and History Major mini skeins collections, and then realized it could branch out even more. The Keys To The Collection Kerchief is the stash-busting solution that I think everyone needs: a cute, quasi fade scarflette with a keyhole on each end to hold everything together. Use five mini skeins or scraps of 10 grams each and play with funky color combos and stripes to your heart’s content!
