During a relisten of the podcast series “King Falls AM” I wanted to knit a scarf for my winter supplies box (otherwise known as the ‘Box of Warm’)- nothing too easy, but not anything too complicated either. I wanted to be able to set it down and not be utterly lost when I returned. In the podcast, they talk about an “Intergalactic Uber” now and again, and depending on your yarn choice the results could look like alien circuitry, or only very slightly decimated corn rows. The stitch itself is a variation of the Checker Board Stitch, with a tiny twist. So, get your needles and yarn and knit up a nubbly scarf while you wait for your Intergalactic Uber.

Gauge is not necessary for this pattern, but listening to King Falls AM just might be…

Suggested colors: Anything “spacey” or maybe “Rainbow Lights-y”

Also, if you are interested- there is a King Falls AM group here on Ravelry! You can find it here.
