I’m lucky enough to live in an area where it’s really cold during the winter months and slippers are a MUST HAVE to survive the cold. So I went on a mission to design a more trendy, cabled slipper boot that was warm enough for the cold here and comfy enough to wear in not so frigid temperatures. The “Kickin’ Cables” Slipper Boots are SOOO super comfy & warm that you’ll want to make yourself a pair in every color. :) My favorite thing about them is that they don’t twist around on your feet (you know when your sole ends up on the top of your foot?). lol

The soles of these slippers are not constructed like the majority of slipper patterns. They are not worked in the round in an oval pattern. The way that they’re worked makes them much easier and quicker to work up. :)

Pattern Sizes Inlcuded:
Small: Women’s 5/6
Medium: Women’s 7/8
Large: Women’s 9/10
Extra Large: Women’s 11/12
Instructions included for making a wide slipper boot.

This pattern is classified as an Intermediate pattern because of the cable work. I have created a 2 part video tutorial for the cables here: https://www.youtube.com/user/jam32876/videos

The pattern calls for a Chunky Weight / 5 yarn & a Worsted Weight / 4 yarn. I prefer Wool-Ease Chunky or Loops and Threads Charisma for my slippers. However, I had a couple of testers who worked theirs up using 2 strands of Worsted Weight/4 yarn. As long as you check your gauge, you should have no problems. For the Worsted Weight / 4 yarn I suggest I Love This Yarn, Caron Simply Soft or Wool-Ease Worsted Weight. (Red Heart Super Saver makes the cables and cuff too bulky, in my opinion.)
