This pattern was handed out by Nancy Bush in her workshop on how to knit Estonian mitts - it includes the kihnu troi cast on and two rows of Kihnu Vits - interesting stitches which require some concentration and skill to knit.
The lovely yarn recommended can be obtained from her company ‘The Wooly West’. Black, white and red are the traditional colours used on the Estonian Island of Kihnu.
