Crochet this casual hooded vest with wrapped cross front detail. A perfect wardrobe addition for in between cooler and warmer weathers. The vest is made up using a combination of single crochet and ch1 stitches, giving a woven texture which works up fast as you only need to work half the number of stitches!

Instructions given for sizes:
S = UK 8-10 / US 4-6 - up to 34” bust
M = UK 12-14 / US 8-10 - up to 38” bust
L = UK 16-18 / US 12-14 - up to 42” bust
XL = UK 20-22 / US 16-18 - up to 46” bust
2XL = UK 24-26 / US 20-22 - up to 50” bust
3XL = UK 28-30 / US 24-26 - upto 54” bust

This pattern is worked using Worsted (UK Aran) size yarn (yarn weight #4) with a 6mm hook.
I have used Ice Yarns Aladdin Alpaca (20% Alpaca, 30% Wool, 50% Acrylic mix).
Any type of Acrylic, Wool or mixed yarn should work for this pattern.

Gauge:
2” square = 4 sc+ch1 x 8 rows
Using Worsted (UK Aran) yarn - Yarn weight #4

You will need:
Yarn weight #4 / Worsted (UK Aran) yarn - approx. between 450g-950g depending on size.
6mm crochet hook or size needed to achieve correct gauge
3 buttons - 25mm in diameter
