The shawl is knit from the top down starting with a tab cast on. The petal like diamonds grow from the center of the shawl and grow outwards. They are bordered at the edge by twisted rib leaves and a mesh pattern. The edge is a picot cast off. The border of the shawl is formed by knitting in reverse stockinette which naturally forms a rolled edge.

Finished size: 51 inches along the edge and 22 inches from the center back to the cast off edge
