Oversized, tunic-length vest using Knitting-as-Warp technique which involves weaving-in contrasting yarns to create colorful patterns after knitting is completed.

Materials:

  • Main Color (MC) in Aran weight yarn: 570 (640, 700, 780, 860) yds or approx. 7 (8, 8, 9, 10) 1.75oz / 50g balls in medium to dark intensity brown.
  • Contrast Colors (CC) in DK to Aran weight yarns: 1 yd lengths of light intensity (LCC) red-oranges, oranges, yellow-oranges, yellows, yellow-greens, beiges, and off-whites; 2.5 yd lengths of light-medium intensity (MCC) oranges, yellow-oranges, yellow-greens, greens, and blue-greens; 6.25 yd lengths of dark intensity (DCC) oranges, yellow-oranges, yellows, and yellow-greens.
  • For pocket linings: 30 yds MC or any CC in Aran weight yarn
  • Five 1” buttons in MC
