The fronts and back of this over-sized cardigan are worked in pieces and seamed. The sleeves are knit in the round to the underarms, and the set-in sleeves are worked back and forth. After the fronts and back are joined, the collar and button band are picked up and worked in twisted rib. Short-row shaping creates the shawl collar.
