KURZBESCHREIBUNG
Der Cardigan mit 3/4 Ärmeln wird in einem Stück nahtlos von oben gestrickt. Die Maschenaufnahme für die Blende, sowie für die Schultern- und Ärmel erfolgt mit dem provisorischen Maschenanschlag.

Man beginnt zunächst mit der linken Halsblende und strickt dann die Maschen des provisorischen Anschlags für die Schulter- und Ärmel bis zur Höhe des Armausschnittes. Das Gleiche macht man mit der rechten Blende und dem rechtem Vorderteil. Anschließend werden die provisorischen Anschläge gelöst und es erfolgt die Maschenaufnahme für das Rückenteil aus dem linken Vorderteil, der linken Blende, der rechten Blende und dem rechten Vorderteil.

Die Schulter- und Armschrägen werden durch verkürzte Reihen, die Halsausschnittschräge durch Zunahmen und die Rundungen unter den Ärmeln, sowie die Seitenschräge durch Abnahmen geformt. Das Unterteil erhält ein kurzes „Bündchen“ im Glattpatent, damit sich der Rand nicht einrollt.

Durch die Top-Down-Strickweise und die besondere Konstruktion kann das Modell leicht in der Größe angepasst werden. Die Anpassungsmöglichkeiten stehen in der Anleitung.

COMPOSITION

This cardigan with 3⁄4 length sleeves is worked seamlessly top down in one piece. Stitches for front bands as well as for shoulders and sleeves are picked up with the provisional cast on method.
You start by working the left neckband, thereafter the stitches for the provisional cast on for shoulders and sleeves to the armhole opening. The right side is worked the same way. You then undo the provisional cast ons and pick up stitches for the back from the left front, left front band, right front band and right front.
Shoulders and sleeves are shaped with short rows, the neckline with increases and the curves under the armhole openings with decreases. The lower body part is worked in a short “ribbed hem” in stockinette brioche, so that the edge doesn’t curl.
By working this cardigan top down and due to the cardigan’s special construction, it can easily be adjusted in size while knitting. All further information can be found in the instruction.
