Celebrate the power of generous action with the Kindness is Everything pattern for the 2018 Kindness KAL. Soft colors alternate in a calming rhythm, finished with a lace border. This top-down triangle shawl begins with a garter-tab cast on and includes both written and charted lace instructions.

Shawl uses a 50g gradient and 100g speckle. Sample shown in colorway Kindness is Everything.

Finished shawl measures 53” on wingspan and 20” down spine to point.

The Kindness KAL officially starts February 1 in the Knitcircus Group. But you can go ahead and cast on now if you’re eager to get started! You can knit this shawl or the Kindness KAL shawl from last year or any shawl that uses at least 400 yards of yarn.
