Cute and comfortable hat has a wide contrasting-color hem, simple stranded triangle pattern, and a charming squiggle and tassel trim. Worked in the round beginning with a provisional cast on.

Finished Size: 22” band, 24” hat circumference, 11” depth. To modify size adjust gauge.

Yarn: Sunday Knits 3 ply yarn (sport weight) (246 yd / 225 m per 50-gm skein): Nirvana (merino cashmere), Angelic (merino, angora), Eden (merino) and / or Brigadoon (merino tweed):
240 yd main color and 175 yd contrasting color. Substitute any light sport weight yarn that works to gauge.

Needles & notions: 2 sets US size 3 / 3.25 mm and 1 set US size 4 / 3.5 mm double-pointed or circular needles; stitch marker, tapestry needle.

Gauge: 24 sts and 36 rows = 4” in St st using smaller needles; 26 sts and 32 rows = 4” in stranded St st using larger needles.
