Notes/Modifications

  • You may change colors as desired instead of following the pattern. If you use other yarns, gauges, and color changes, please ensure you have enough yarn and use the schematic to work out the correct cast on.
  • Slip the beginning two stitches of every row for an I-cord edge.
  • The measurements can be modified to accommodate wider or narrower shoulders. You may change the distance between the armholes or add more material at the front of the garment. As written, the back piece measures 18 inches.
  • Optional, as shown in picture, 4 colors were used to accent a few rows here and there.
  • If you want a longer garment, make sure to cast on an even number of stitches.
