This is a pattern for a delicate lace shawl made using lace weight yarn. This is the perfect shawl for an air conditioned restaurant, or chilly fall or spring evening. The focal lace stitch is an unusual one, but is easily learned, once worked. It adds a bit of dimension to the very light weight shawl. It is finished with a one of the Shetland Edgings and is attached in the usual Shetland manner.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of cable knitting).

The stitches are both charted and written out line by line.

The wrap was expertly pattern tested by
Page Zelasko, who can be contacted at: izazbz@yahoo.com The yarn used in the sample is Knit Picks “Aloft”, in colorway, Koi.
