This doll is about 6 inches tall. You will need about 22-24 yards of your primary colour, for the doll’s body, and up to 15 yards of your secondary colours, for the doll’s dress and scalp. The remainder of the yarn is for the doll’s hair, so it depends on how long and luxurious you wish to style it!

You will also need a small amount of toy stuffing, and embroidery thread or eye findings for the doll’s facial features. I find that simple French knots work very well for eyes.

This pattern is very easy; it is suitable for a confident beginner.
