This is a picture pattern so a solid color yarn is preferred. Watch out for very dark or very bright colors as that can male picture harder to see.

Needle size is your preference, I use a US3 since I am a loose knitter and a smaller needle helps my pattern to stand out better

My sample cloth was between an 8x8 and 9x9 square, and took less than 2oz of yarn to complete
