Size: 0-3 months - 14” (from shoulder to bottom hem)

250 yds (#4) medium weight yarn (I used Lionbrand ‘Shawl in a Ball” for the purple dress and Lionbrand “Heartland” for the Grey dress)

Circular Knitting Needles Size US 7 (4.5mm) at least 14” in length

Tapestry Needle for sewing in ends

1/2” Button

Gauge: 18 stitches x 25 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette stitch

Pattern notes:
The dress is knit top down and all in one piece Starting at the collar, and knitting flat for the first 25 rows, the yoke of the dress is then joined for in the round. The sleeves are bound off shortly thereafter and the bodice is continued in the round with a few rows of ribbing and cables to create a waistline. The skirt is also knit in the round after a couple rows of increases to create an A line shape. The bottom hem is then knit with a feather and fan lace pattern to create a nicely scalloped edge. Button is added to back for closure.
