A shawl dancing in the wind, coupled with the geometric shapes and curves of a kite in flight is what this shawl brings to mind. Thus, Kite Dancer! A simplistic and easy knit coupled with picot edging makes this a delight.

This shawl is worked top to bottom using a garter tab, with 4 page written instructions (charted coming soon). Gauge is unimportant as this is not a fitted garment but differences in gauge may affect the shawl’s final size.

Suggested yarns are what I have tested with personally, with the strands held triple, any light/regular fingering weight yarn will do! :) As long as you have at least 600 yards / 550 meters of the yarn of your choice. This will create a shawl that has a wingspan of approximately 48” and a length of 34” (121cm x 86cm approx.)
