PATTERN INFORMATION
Kite Shawl is a reversible triangular shawl worked in an interesting stitch pattern that combines lace and ribbing to form kite-shaped motifs. The shawl is worked sideways from the right tip to the left bottom edge and its size is adjustable - to make it bigger, work more pattern repeats. The shawl looks best in solid or semisolid colourways.

Kite pattern: 24-stitch and 30-row pattern repeat measures 10 cm/4 in wide and 10 cm/4 in tall
1x1 rib pattern: 24 sts and 36 rows = 10 cm/4 in (stretched)
Note: Gauge is not crucial for this project, but it will affect yardage and finished size if different from above.

Yarn
800 (1130) meters/880 (1245) yds of fingering yarn. For best results use smooth wool yarn with good stitch definition, in a solid or a semisolid colourway. Shown in Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light (100% merino wool, 384 metres/420 yds per 100 g, colourway Lapis).

Needles and Notions
3.75 mm/US 5 circular needle, at least 100 cm/40 in long
2 stitch markers

Kite Shawl to dwustronna trójkątna chusta robiona ciekawym wzorem latawców. Chustę zaczynamy od górnego prawego rogu i robimy w poprzek, do lewego dolnego brzegu. Rozmiar chusty można łatwo zmodyfikować: aby ją powiększyć przerabiaj więcej powtórek wzoru, do osiągnięcia pożądanego rozmiaru. Najlepszy rezultat osiągniesz z włóczki w jednolitym, nie za ciemnym kolorze.
