Easy pattern, knit flat and sewn up. Great for beginners learning, or a quick knit for those in the know.

Skills necessary:
CO = cast on
K = knit
P = purl
st st = stockinette stitch = knit one row, purl one row
K2tog = Knit 2 stitches together
P2tog = Purl 2 stitches together
BO = bind off
basic embroidery for stitching whiskers
mattress stitch for seaming

Gauge is not needed. Suggested yarn is what I include in the DIY knitting kits I sell on Etsy, but any worsted weight yarn will do.

Supplies:

Worsted weight yarn, 5 separate colors for skin, shirt, 2 sock stripes, and boots
Size 6 knitting needles
yarn needle
scissors
Black or White DMC floss for whiskers
2 colors of felt for eye spots
Two size 10mm split pupil safety eye, one size 10mm heart-shaped nose, or you can stitch these on instead if you’d like
