Copyright 1974. The pattern calls for a 36” circular needle, 11 4-oz skeins of worsted yarn, with two strands held together throughout. The pattern is text-only, no chart or diagram. The only additional tool needed is a cable needle. The pattern is three “cellular” panels (lace stitch) separated by two panels of horseshoe cable, with no border or fringe.

“Double yarn and Size 15 needles make this fisherman afghan a quick one. Between the unusual Horseshoe Cables are panels of Cellular Stitch, adding interesting texture.” - The 7-Day Afghan Book
