These sizes are adult/teen women’s sizes small, medium, and large.

The pattern calls for 2, 2 oz. skeins of Red Heart Wintuk Sport yarn.

They come up to the knee. Socks are worked cuff-down, in the round, with a short 1x1 ribbed cuff. Pattern calls for double-pointed needles, but magic loop or 2 circulars could be used.

There are decreases in the leg after the widest part of the calf.

There is a heel flap and the heel is turned.

The toe is constructed by making mirrored decreases at the sides of instep and sole, tapering to the top of the toes. The toes are closed with kitchener stitch.

The stitch pattern is a modified rib stitch that has purls and a single knit stitch and a little twisted rib/coin cable. Pattern repeats on the instep.
