This pattern was written after I made the hat, so if you run into any issues please let me know so I can revise it.

It was also written to create a large hat, but the number of stitches you cast on can be modified, as long as it is a multiple of 4. You can also make it as long as you want. The pictured hat is 12 inches which makes it slouchy but also allows me to roll it up when I want it to be a little more fitted.

I don’t remember how many skeins of yarn I used originally, but just to be on the safe side I would say use 2 skeins so you don’t risk not having enough yarn.
