Skirt is worked from the top down, it is worked either in the round or worked flat depending on your preference. After main part of skirt is completed, 6 separate curves are then made at the bottom completing the look of a spiral skirt. Instructions are also given for optional picot edging or to change colors for a multi colored skirt. 2 different method are also given for waistband, either a crochet waistband with elastic or a knit waistband using a crochet or ribbon ties.

I consider this an easy to intermediate pattern, easy for the simple one color skirt, intermediate for the multi color skirt.

A stitch chart is also given for the smallest size to show the increases and decreases.

Materials:

Sport weight yarn, some worsted weight yarn works
(Note: worsted yarn will make a larger heavier skirt, lighter yarn makes a lacier skirt)
