This is a little bag which I use to carry small knitting projects around in. My mum uses hers as an every day handbag/purse. It has a nice flat base that means the bag will stand up well on it’s own. It is knit on 80cm circular needles and there is absolutely no sewing up, just a few ends to darn in before felting.

I do all my felting in my washing machine and felt my projects to the point where no knitting stitches are visible and the fabric is then durable and doesn’t stretch when used.

I have included a small bonus project with this pattern as I had some leftover wool. I made a scissor poke to store my pointy craft scissors in which I need on hand when finishing knitting.

Note - second sample knit with a regular stripe pattern using the same basic bag pattern. Just another idea.
